It is very easy to go you will need a 6" extension for your wrench and i believe a 10mm socket. You just have to follow the top radiator house to where it enters the block and there is where your bolts will be just remove them and pull on the the housing the the hose is connected to and it will come off and the thermostat will be take a pair of pliers and pull on the thermostat and it will pop out. Make sure to do this when the engine is cold or hot coolant will spray on you. It would get a 180 thermostat for cooler running temps hope this helps
