Chevy is pretty bad about that, they want you to take it in so they can reset it, the master code is kept secret. I advise after you do to set a new code in it yourself using the instructions in the owners manual so the next time you won't have to go through that.
Take it to a dealership. The theft lock feature is there to deter theft of these radios.
if you don't have a proper scan tool to reset it, then the only other way is to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. warning : the radio and clock, etc will reset also & the radio security lock could activate (radio would then not work until reset)

To unlock a 2007 Chevy Avalanche from theft lock, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Leave it in this position for about 10 minutes until the security light turns off. After that, turn the key back to the "Off" position, then back to "On" again for a few seconds. This process should reset the theft lock system and allow the vehicle to start normally.
To reset the radio in a Cadillac STS after the anti-theft feature has been activated, first turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the radio power button for about 10 seconds until the display shows "SEC" or "LOCK." After that, enter the correct security code if prompted, which can typically be found in the owner's manual or obtained from a dealership. If the code is entered correctly, the radio should reset and become operational again.

To reset the anti-theft device on a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix radio, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Then, turn the radio on; if it displays "LOC" or "LOCK," press and hold the "Power" button for about 10 seconds until it changes to "SEC" or unlocks. If the radio still doesn't unlock, you may need to enter a security code, which can typically be found in your owner's manual or obtained from a dealership.

You have to put the key in the driver's door lock and turn it to the right.
To reset the anti-theft system on a 2000 Cadillac Seville SLS, first ensure that the vehicle is in the "Run" position without starting the engine. Then, use the key fob to lock and unlock the doors, or insert the key into the driver's door lock and turn it to lock and then unlock the door. This process should reset the anti-theft system. If the issue persists, refer to the owner’s manual or consult a professional for further assistance.
