i don't believe there is a reset method. is it electronic? you need to be sure that the a/c even works. it can stop working in an instant. also do the dash controls work and the doors that direct the air inside your dash. there are several things to look at.
i wish i knew
Disconnect batt
you dont reset it, its automatic, the lowest temp. is 60 degrees i believe.
If the climate control on a 2003 Trailblazer will not switch from feet to head vents, try changing it to defroster then back to head. The mode button on the dual climate control model can only be switched from face/feet to feet and then to defrost. The feet and head vents worked at the same time.
disconnect the battery for more than 30 secs, this will reset part of the computer that locks out the control system if it has detected a fault Dave
The climate control amplifier is partially responsible for receiving requests from the control head (the buttons that you push), and sending commands to the servo to execute the climate control changes you requested. Example: I have a 1980 450 SEL. The climate control amplifier is behind the glovebox. I'm in the process of refurbishing mine with new guts. I knew mine was bad because the heat wouldn't come on.
press off and warmer buttons on climate control center. warmer is also the pass side heat button.
Press the 1 and 3 buttons on the head unit at the same time
Could be low coolant, stuck thermostat, bad heater control head (if climate control)
The A/C reset button is located in the climate control system. It includes the Fan, Temperature and Mode knob. You can set the A/C to vent, defrost, defog, and floor.
To program the air conditioning system in a 1997 Mercedes E420, you typically need to adjust the climate control settings via the dashboard interface. Start the vehicle and use the climate control buttons to set your desired temperature and fan speed. If you need to reset or troubleshoot the system, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes may help reset the climate control module. For specific programming functions or diagnostics, refer to the owner's manual or a professional service guide.
There is no reset.
