how do i reset srs light on scion tc
A scan tool is required.
this light is letting you know that it's time to change the oil. Now if you had it changed then the place that did it forgot to reset it when it was in the shop, you could look in the owners manual it should tell you how to turn it off
You have a defective airbag. You replace that bag.
change the oil
With the key "off", push and hold the odometer reset button. With your other hand, turn the key to the "On" position. The odometer will count down dashes(-) and then display 000000. Let go of the odometer reset button. Turn key off and then on and start the engine. "Maint. Required" light should stay off
It means there is some scheduled maintenance that needs to be done. Can be nothing more than an Oil/Filter change. Your owner's manual will tell you what needs to be done. You reset the light by holding the odometer reset button in while at the some time turning the ignition to the on position without starting the engine.
1. Set your ODO to Trip A 2. Turn off ignition 3. Hold ODO button 4. Turn on ignition 5. Hold ODO button until Maintenance Required light stops flashing
t's not a problem, it is merely a reminder light so customers will be prompted to do the required maintenance. Turn the ignition ON Make sure the "ODO" is displayed, not "TRIP" Press and hold the TRIP reset button Turn the key off and back on Hold the reset button until the lines on the ODO display disappear and the ODOMETER reading comes back. answered by Liselle
Go see a mechanic. You may have a serious problem. Don't mess with brakes.
