To unplug the AC in a 1999 LS1, first locate the AC compressor, which is typically found near the front of the engine. Disconnect the electrical connector from the compressor by pressing the release tab and pulling it off. Additionally, you may need to remove the fuse for the AC system from the fuse box to ensure the system is completely disabled. Always make sure the engine is off and cool before performing any disconnection.
yes

Unplug the coils and crank the engine over until the oil pressure builds up.

Are you sure you have your LS numbers correct? Your Car came with an LS1, but the LS7 is just the latest engine out and it is in the ZO6.
5.7 li
Either a 3.8L V6 or a 5.7L LS1 V8
You have got to be fukking kidding... v6 3800 or the v8 Ls1
It really is not safe to leave a AC adapter plugged in. If not using I would unplug it.
The base LS1 had 305 hp, Ram Air (WS6) models had 320.
depends on the model, the Z28s and the SS do. there's also a V6.
Unplug the old one then plug in the new one. The AC relay location can be found in the drivers manual.
