12 -13 hours, depending on how fast you drive, how many times you stop, etc. There are two routes -- (1) all Interstate highways: south on I-25 to Albuquerque, then west on I-40 to I-17, then I-17 south into Phoenix, or (2) I-70 west into Utah, then a bunch of smaller highways down through Utah and northern AZ. The second route is a little shorter in terms of miles, but it's probably a little longer in terms of time. It's certainly more interesting and prettier, but the weather can be an issue in the winter. The Interstate route is easy (and boring), but relatively fast.
