I have a non turbocharged 2009 smart for two and normal driving and even getting on it a lot I never had lower than a 38 mpg average. I feel that it is one of the most de-tuned restricted cars I have ever operated or owned. So if opened up ie: intake exhaust and even a gt 20 turbo setup this very well could be the most fuel efficient cars on the market.
