I got a red-light ticket a couple of years back and it cost me about $600. The violation was taken by a red-light camera on Ontario Ave./ California Ave. area. I didn't make a full stop; just did a "California-roll" and bingo - the camera took my pic. (didn't even noticed). Anyway, it sucked. I was eligible for traffic school, but didn't have the money to pay for the ticket...so I went to court (on my regular scheduled date and time) went in front of the judge and said "guilty, community service." I got about 60 hours of community service and didn't have to pay the ticket. However, by selecting community service, I wasn't eligible for the traffic school - and this in turn resulted into a one-point against my lic. (the one-point violations clears in 3 yrs. - FYI). Anyway, since then, all the cameras in Corona have been removed. Yey!!

As of my last update, a ticket for running a red light in Oakland, California, typically costs around $500, including fines and fees. In addition to the monetary penalty, drivers may also incur points on their driving record. It's important to check the latest local regulations or the Oakland city website for any updates, as fines and laws can change.
This isn't an easy answer, because it depends on the type of grow light (fluorescent, HID, LED), the size of the garden, and also changes over time. I've suggested a link that discusses costs associated with grow lights.
I think around $70.
