If you mean the Vehicle Identification Number for your car, you can find it at the base of the windshield on the driver's side. You should also be able to find it on your car's registration.
1969 and newer cars will have the VIN on the drivers side dash viewable through the windshield.

But there can be exceptions. I owned two 1978 BMW 320i cars...it was stamped into the right hand metal that was under the lip of the hoods, open the hood and you'd see it. None on the dash. On my 1961 Chryaler it was stamped on the front of the left hand door, open the drivers door, look at the door hinges and you would see it.
Stand in front of the windshield on the driver's side and look through where the dash meets the hood area (inside of the glass). It will be there. or, if you can't find that, open the drivers side door and there will be a sticker (usually white) with the year, make, model, VIN, and other specifications.
If you were facing your car from the front, the VIN can be found in the lower right hand corner of the wind shield. It is a small embossed plate in the dash.
2 places. On the triple tree and the engine casing.

The triple tree is the tube between the front forks. It should be on the left side of there.

On the engine casing it's usually on the top towards the rear.On cars and trucks, the VIN can be found in a variety of places; some of these are:

  • molded in the head and block
  • on a stamped tag on the head, the block, the oil pan, the bell housing of the transmission, or the rear differential.
  • on the vehicle information tag on the inside edge of the driver side door.
  • some foreign vehicles also stamp the VIN behind the rear license plate.
  • Stand outside the car on the drivers side next to the windshield. Look in the very far corner of the dash next to the windshield. There you will find the VIN.
  • stamped into the frame in a variety of locations.
