On a 1991 Chevy 350 tbi if the timing is right and it has new plugs good wires and a decent cap and rotor what would make it spit and sputter when you try to take off but only at low rpm?

I have the same problem, but what has fixed the issue alot is:

1. Check the gap on your plugs .035

2. Replace or remove cat. convertor

3. Set the timing or check to see if set on last point in advance

4. Add 2 cans od sea foam cleaner to tank
