if fan is electric, the radiator thermostate could be wired wrong/faulty.
when the car starts to over heat
The one for the radiator on the right side
yes the cooling fan will take 4 minutes to work The cooling fan will come on as soon as the car starts only if the air conditioner or derfroster is on.
The cooling fan generally does not run when the car is cold, but could be wired directly to the battery so that when the ignition is engaged, the fan comes on. This is not a factory modification but is often accomplished if the car tends to run hot.
The fan is on a thermostat, causing the fan to run if cooling is required, even when the car ignition is turned off. Having said that, if you notice that the fan is running long after you've shut the engine off, you may have a problem!
When you can not figure out why your car makes a strange noise, you take it to a mechanic.
"I" is the first person singular pronoun. I am a big fan of ice cream!
Replace the heater/airconditioner fan relay. See other Q & A regarding heater fan running when ignition/engine off. A real pain--drains battery quickly.
Its not your engine. Its the fan running to cool the engine down. They all do it and nothing is wrong with your car.
Explain what's happening with the car's fan a little better. When driving the car its ok, when I am in traffic for 15 minutes and over the temp, starts to rise.If I put the ac on, IN traffic, it over heats.
bad relay
either the thermostat or the fan is no good. You would need to locate the thermostat and see if its stuck open or closed!
