from all model from 2002 to 2005, the interior clock and mileage stay on after car is off.
If the clock is in the radio it shouldn't stay on it should go off when you shut the ignition off.... it could come on when you press the bottom left knob in on the radio the the clock appears for about a minute and then should shut off
in the lower right side when you stay in front of the car
It should be on a delay and shut off after 10-20 minutes.
Yes, power is always applied to the clock.
Im having the same problem with my 2002 passat. It's probably a sensor or something. You probably should have a diagnostic test run on it, if you can. I dont think its terribly important, because in the manual it would say DO NOT DRIVE CAR.
You could go in store or online to Euro Car Parts to view car parts for the Volkswagen Passat. You could also go on eBay to buy car parts for the Volkswagen Passat for a potentially cheaper price.
stay in car
The car should be governed at 130mph
I have a VW Jetta and mine does the same thing and yeah they stay on all the time.
yes the clock remains on, otherwise you would have to reset it everytime you restarted your car
The average cost of a Volkswagen Passat car is between 15,000$ and 25,000$. The price varies greatly depending of the state of the car and the seller's own price.
That would depend on the year of your Passat. What year is it?1997
