boost pressure, as you call it, will not show on gauge,if you have one, while engine is at idle the turbo pressure does not boost but runs all the time according to the revs of engine
40 on idle up to 60 while on the move.
Engine oil pressure will vary depending on if the vehicle is in an idle state or not. However, on average, it should be around 40, which is typically half of the gauge.
between 35/60 psi.
Remove the oil pressure sensor, connect a manual oil pressure gauge to the port & start engine. You should have 10 18 psi at idle. hope it helps, Slackers Of Va.
Need to hook up a oil pressure gauge in the place were the oil sending unit is on the engine and see what the gauge reads, You should have no less then 20 LBS. at a idle. If it does not have oil pressure then pump is bad.
IT VARIES BUT AT LEAST 25PSI IDLE 50PSI AND UP HIGHWAYAnswerAround 50psi. Answerrealy it depends on the car what type of oil pump is installed but at idle less then 10psi is normally not to good and highway 40 to 50 is great Answeroil pressure is normally at least 20psi idle and should be 40psi or more above 2000rpm. Answer10 p.s.i. for every 1000 r.p.m. is the general rule.
High blower boost pressure at engine idle can occur due to several factors, including a high-speed blower or supercharger that generates significant pressure even at low engine speeds. Additionally, a closed throttle plate restricts airflow, causing the blower to create more pressure in the intake system. This situation can lead to an over-rich air-fuel mixture, which may affect engine performance and emissions. Proper tuning and design considerations are essential to manage boost levels effectively at idle.

How high is your idle? idle should be 800rpm good oil pressure is obtained at this idle
according to my pressure gauge on a 99 gst at idle about 50 and 3200 about 75psi
Your oil pressure goes up with more throttle (higher rpm) and there is less pressure say at idle. Therefore your gauge reading will vary according to the throttle/rpm.
