Ive not got an answer, I have had my megane for six months. I open my car with the fob turn the ignition, sontimes its starts and sometimes it dosent. I have to take my key out of the ignition lock and unlock the car. It just seems to start when it feels like it. Anyone got any advice.

There are two. One is in the engine bay - near the battery under a black plastic cover. The other is in the glove box roof! Not where is says in the manual!! Hope this helps
You can find the fuse box in the engine compartment of your 05 Renault Megane and can remove the cover However you cant get at the fuses as the seems to be another clip can anyone help?
Im Afraid you need to remove the battery and then the tray. You will also have to remove the cpu before being able to get in with a small flat head screwdriver to remove the clip

What is the towing capacity of a Renault megane?
As with all Renault cars, you need to read the handbook carefully. The weights section is usually towards the end of the book. You will probably find two figures for the towing weight. One "with driver only", the other for "all other situations". You will find it difficult to get a straight answer from Renault as to the meaning of "all other situations" but effectively it means that if there is anything or anyone else in the car other than the driver, the the towing weight limit can drop perhaps 300kg or so. Sounds absurd, but that's the way it is. Just leave your wife at home. Don't carry a toolbox, leave the picnic hamper behind.
