Purchase and inexpensive recharging kit from the parts store... add coolant while the vehicle is running and after you recharge it turn the motor off and you night be able to hear a leak... if not then start with a recharge kit that has the florescent dye in it and that might help finding the leak... more than likely there is a leak...
Check the fuses. If the brake light fuse blows it won't come out of park.
Possibly needs recharged with refrigerant. You can check low pressure side with a guage.
I just replaced the freon in my air-conditioner but it still blows warm in my 02 toyota echco ...Is there a possible problem somehere?
Check for a stuck open thermostat, check for an always on radiator fan, control valve stuck partially open or a clogged heater core.
Check to see if your condenser fan is running when a/c compressor kick on.
It can be a vacuum problem. Check to see if there is vacuum going into the cab. Check for a pinched hose or one that is soft and collapsed.
To recharge the air conditioner on a 2004 Chevy Express van, first ensure the engine is running and the AC is set to the maximum cold setting. Locate the low-pressure service port, typically found on the larger AC line, and connect a refrigerant recharge kit to it. Follow the instructions on the refrigerant can to add the appropriate amount of refrigerant, checking the pressure gauge to avoid overcharging. After recharging, monitor the AC performance and check for any leaks or issues.
Possibly a low refrigerant charge
Your air conditioner may be frozen due to restricted airflow or low refrigerant levels. To fix it, turn off the unit to allow it to thaw, check and clean the air filters, ensure all vents are open and unblocked, and have a professional inspect and recharge the refrigerant if needed.
Check old Taurus catalogs
Check to see what stops working when the fuse blows. If it is the compressor itself, then either the ac clutch or the ac relay has probably gone bad.
The 1984 Buick uses vacuum lines to change air flow from defroster to ac vents. Check the entire vacuum system for leaks.
