I just had a warranty repair for an airbag indicator light malfunction on my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. The service persons said it may be possible the airbag would not function properly in an accident if not corrected. They diagnosed the problem to be in a seatbelt sensor that is tied into the airbag system. The ordered part was installed on 9/19/08 and everything appears to be okay now.
Replace the flickering light.
If it only flickers it may be due to low fluid level in the master cylinder. Check your brake fluid reservoir.
If you have the codes read and repair what is wrong with the vehicle the light will go out on its own, or can be reset by the tech.

When a light flickers, it usually indicates a problem with the electrical connection or the light bulb itself. To address this issue, you can try tightening the light bulb, checking the wiring connections, or replacing the bulb if needed. If the problem persists, it may be best to consult a professional electrician for further assistance.
They are little wax candles with a LED light that flickers and looks like a flame.
you really shouldn't disable that light. whenever you get the problem fixed the light will go out on its own. should you disable it you have no way of knowing of any problems your engine may have in the future.
For the airbag light to turn off, you'll need to repair the cause of the airbag malfunction, or disable the airbag by using a BMW scan tool or other software.
An intermittent connection would be a connection that is not constant. For example, if you have a light in your house that you have turned on and it flickers on and of, that would be intermittent, not constant light.
The light flickers when turned on because of fluctuations in the electrical current flowing to the light bulb, which can be caused by issues with the wiring, the light bulb itself, or the electrical connection.
