1) You can try to bargain down the price a bit, because the seller won't have to pay the 4% to 6% to visa/MasterCard (etc) for the "privelege" of accepting their card.

3) You can't spend money you don't really have.
4) Most folks would think twice before whipping out a bunch of cash for something... It makes a person ask "Do I REALLY need this?"
5) It might help reduce the amount of junk mail coming to you through the post.
