Southern Texas rarely gets snow and the whole state of Florida hardly ever gers snow. Both states have beaches, however Florida beaches are (in my opinion) way better. Both states boast the best economies in the country as of 2012, Texas being #1 and Florida being #2. Both states also recieve hurricanes, Florida being the #1 hurricane-prone state in the country, but Florida hasn't had a single hurricane since 2005 (Texas' last hurricane was in 2008 and they had a tropical storm last year). Both places have the most tornadoes, Florida having the most per sq. mile and Texas having more than any other state due to size, but Florida tornadoes are rarely stronger than an ef1 so they don't do much damage.
Rednecks live in both states.
