I don't know precisely about the Sedona, but generally the button on top of the steering column activates the flashing hazard lights.
check and make sure your lock on your gear selector is engaged that is a common problem if that doesnt solve it there is a tiny little door on the bottom of the steering column pull out the little piece of plastic and inside is a little button push the button and turn the key at the same time it should unlock
Ford kinda hid the flashers. Look behind the steering wheel. It's that little button that's on the column going into the dash. Can't miss it
In a 1997 it sits right on top of the steering column. There is a little orange button. I'm pretty sure the 94-97's are all the same. Hope that helps
For floor shift transmissions you will find a small panel above the "P" symbol. Using something small you will pry it off. You will then find a little button, depressing the button will allow the car to get out of park without pushing the brake pedal. For the column shift type you will have the same process, just the button being on the steering column.
steering column removalto replace steering column: take lower cover off, then there is a bracket on the bottom of the column with four brass bolts in it, remove those. on that same bracket there are two metric nuts on either side of the column, remove those. now the column will drop. next remove the ignition switch and dimmer switch. now that u dropped the steering column you will have access to them. go ahead and remove three bolts from where the steering column meets the firewall(you will need to pull the carpet back a little). next pop the hood and locate the steering gear on the drivers sidetowards the front take ou the bolt holding in the shaft to the gearbox. and then the steering column should slip right out.
lower left of steering column.....look for little cubby
All you have to do is high light the column and click the little button that has all the text to the left!
on top of the steering compartment, little button with a triangle on it
if you feel underneath the dashboard to the right of the steering column; you will find a button. push and hold it until the light goes off. It is hard to feel, it is probably best to just get down there and look for it. In my 1999 integra it is a little square blue button.
IT is behind the little pull our compartment on the left side of steering column on the dash. Pull out the little compartment and the fuses are behind it.
for most Saturn's, the diagnostic test port was below the steering column and a little to the left.
The hood release is directly under the steering column toward the firewall. It is not real easy to find as it is made out of the same plastic material as the steering column and fits tightly in it's home. You will find a little depression for your fingers. I had to ask too.
