I've always done that, I believe I learned that information from a police officer in the 1970's; who knows in this day and age, but I think I do it out of safety and kindness.
A driver should generally have their blinker on a minimum of 100 feet before a turn. By turning it on long before the actual turn, it allows following drivers to prepare themselves.
The person who ran into you from behind of course because they should be stopping, or slowing down when you turn in the parking lot.
by blinker I assume you mean turning signal. The fuse is located under the dash board, driver side. It's a little black fuse box, the cover of the box should tell you what fuse is for what.
obviously not if the truck is in the right turning lane and turning right you should keep your distance and follow behind safely
Remove the lens for the blinker. If there is no lens to remove, as in some front blinkers, open the hood and look behind theblinker location. There will be a socket for the light to go in.2Remove the bulb by pressing down on it slightly, and turning counter-clockwise until it comes loose from the housing. This is the part that is apt to be problematic, especially if the bulb has "burned" itself into the socket or otherwise melted something, causing it to hold fast. Should this happen, disconnect the battery, and break the glass on the bulb. Then, with needle-nose pliers, turn the bottom housing of the bulb counter-clockwise until it comes loose.3Install the new blinker bulb in the reverse order of removal, and replace the blinker lens, if applicable. Check blinker to ensure it works. You Will Need a Screw Driver.
It may misguide other vehicle behind
Check your mirrors and signal your intentions.
Someone is joking with you , there is no such thing as blinker fluid and the air in your tires doesn't have to be changed , just the correct tire inflation pressure should be maintained
you should do it about 15-30 seconds before you turn
trunk should be a panel
I turned the corner on a residential street with no double yellow and there was a suv/van on the left with room to go past on the right. I didn't notice whether a blinker was on, but it was moving slowly. I continued straight and the van took a sudden turn into a driveway on the right. I slammed on the brakes but we collided, my subaru wagon's left side behind the headlight met his bumper, as the van was higher. He had no damage. My car was bent in at the corner. He said as he had no damage there was no need for a police report, and I would be cited for passing on the right. I wonder whether he should have looked before turning. I saw a blinking front right blinker when he hit me, but did not notice whether his back blinker worked. I went home with him not wanting to be involved in any way. Could I have been hit in a parking lot in the same way? Is that enough to tell the insurance co.?, Or could he possible have some fault for turning into me and not looking. I wish I knew if his rear blinker worked, but I didn't think of this until I got home.
Try and replace the blinker switch. Iits a round thing under the dashboard on the fuse panel. It should be clearly marked.
