Make a shelf for the bottom at the same slant as the locker. make sure that when you set it inside it will be a few inches higher than the slanted part is so that you can still use that space underneath. build it with a material of your choice. Wood works best, but you can get a wire locker shelf and cut the sides to the right slant. (1.) measure the depth of the inside of your locker and the width. (most lockers have a lip on the edges at the front and you have to be able to get the shelf inside. (2.) cut 2 sides the 1/2" less than the depth of the locker, then measure the slant angle. make sure the sides are a few inches higher than the slanted part. make the top of the shelf by cutting it to the 1/2" less than the width of the inside of the locker and 1/4" less than the depth. Set it up: Set the sides inside the locker. push them up against the sides of the locker and to the back. There should be an opening where you can put shoes or a sweater underneath the shelf. If there isn't you made the sides too short and you'll have to start again. the sides need to be shaped like a right triangle on the bottom and a rectangle on top put together. it goes straight up from the slanted part, so that the door can still close. Decorating ideas: you could paint it or glue on wrapping paper or even make it all glittery-sicky-girly looking you could glue tinfoil or lace or anything you want on it!
