Most all of these take 4 quarts in the pan and 1 in the filter. Normally it is 5 quarts with a filter change, but it possibly could be 6 quarts. Change the oil and filter. Add 5 quarts and start the engine and let run for 45 seconds. Shut it off and wait 45 minutes. Check the level and add accordingly. Do not over fill as this can be just as bad as under filling.
