Presuming no special dealer/seller return guarantee:
There is no time or limit. There simply is no returning or reneging on the sale. It's bought, it's yours. Done deal. You made a contract and deal, presumably because that's what you wanted to do then. Seller can't take it back or decide to charge you more or for any other reason, like he has someone willing to pay more.
Of course, you may now sell it...and you will likely get much less than you paid for it. That's the cost of having others act on your wishes and then changing your mind.
No there is not a period of time in Florida when you can return a new car. A car may be returned if it has a major mechanical defect under the Lemon law.
Some car dealers will let a person return a car for the same model with upgrades for a fee within a time limit after purchase. Some states do not allow the car dealerships to offer this feature. It depends on the state where purchased and the dealer.
Some states have "Lemon Laws" that allow the return of a defective vehicle within a certain specified time limit. Since the car is brand new, any defects would surely be covered by the new car warranty ... they dealer has to fix the problems anyway, and for free.
You have no time to return a car purchase. You have a warranty on a new car to cover problems. If the problem can not be resolved then some states have a "lemon law".
Return a car
No you can not return a new car in South Carolina.
After a car purchase, can I return the car?
There is no such thing as a time limit. When you buy a new car and drive it off the lot it instantly becomes a used car. Of course you can turn right around and trade it in on another new car in 60, 90, 120, etc days, but you will pay the difference in what this used car you are trading in is worth, and the new car sticker, which will be less that what you paid. I think you are really asking if there is a cooling off period on the purchase of an auto and the answer is no.
You can return it to get the scratches repaired. Did you not inspect the car for scratches before you took delivery? You cannot return it for a refund as it is no longer a new car. It is a used car.
You can only return a new car to be fixed if there is something wrong with it. You cannot return a new car just because you changed your mind. There is no buyers remorse law in Maryland.
No time. The buyers remorse law does not apply to the purchase of a new or used vehicle.
You cannot return a new car unless the dealership or individual allows you to. There is no provision for buyer's remorse.
