This would be easier by diagram, but I will give it a try. You have bolts that run along the bottom of the head. The shorter ones. These will be called lower. Then you have the ones that would be under the valve covers. The second to, and the longest. They stagger, but we will group these all as upper. Starting upper, dead center, then upper, one to the right. Then lower, just right of center, then the one just to the left of that, on the lower. Then upper, one left of center, then two right of center, upper. Then lower, two to the right, then lower, two to the left. Then upper two left from center, then three right of center, upper. Seeing the pattern, here? A big circle. Do half of the torque first, then all of it. Then, go back over them, a couple more times. They will loosen. Then, after about 1000 miles, re check them.
