The valves could hit the top of pistons & ruin the engine. You should have this replaced a.s.a.p.
You change the timing belt at 100,000 km. you can do it at 90,000 just to be on the safe side. If it breaks you can bend your valves
Will anything happen to the motor if timing belt breaks on a 2001 ford ranger
the timing belt needs to be replaced every 100,000 KM. I would change it a little prior to that. If it breaks, you can bend your valves.
On older 300ZX's equipped with a timing belt it will cause internal engine damage if the belt breaks as they are interference engines.
The 88 Prelude does not use a dual timing belt. It has a single timing belt
That depends on the engine and what belt (timing or accessory).
?timing marks for 2.0 prelude 89
Yes!!!
Ignition timing, timing belt/chain, distributor cap... who knows without looking at it?
That depends if the engine is interference or not, and how much damage is done.
