The knock sensor has failed and you need to replace it with a new one in order for the check engine light to go out.
you mean knock sensor
your knock sensor could need to be replaced
Knock Sensor
The sensor is bad. A properly-functioning knock sensor allows the ECM to advance timing until it senses a knock. It then retards timing until the knock just barely goes away allowing for optimal gas mileage.

Do you mean the knock sensor? It's a device that detects engine knock so that the computer can retard the timing. If the knock sensor isn't functioning, it could be a connector or the sensor.
A knock sensor tells the engine computer when one or more of your engine's cylinders are "knocking", that is, exploding the air/fuel mixture in a way that delivers less power and can be damaging to the engine if prolonged. The computer uses this information to tune the engine so that it doesn't knock. If your knock sensor wasn't operating properly, so that it was always indicating a knock, the engine computer's response may have been to change the ignition timing on your engine. The knock sensor generally threads into the engine block. This code may show up intermittently or the Service engine light may be lit constantly. You may notice drivability problems including a lack of power and perhaps some hesitation. There may also be other symptoms. * The knock sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced * There is a wiring short/fault in the knock sensor circuit * Check the resistance of the knock sensor (compare it to factory specs) * Check for broken/frayed wires leading to the sensor * Replace the knock sensor
It is located on the side of the engine block. If you have a code for a knock sensor and you have a noise in the engine, it will set the code. That does not mean that the sensor is bad. They very rarely give problems.

it means knock sensor sensor 1 circuit high input (bank 1 or single sensor)
You probably mean the NOX sensor, it is the exhaust in front of the converter and the V8 has at least two of these sensors, easy to get to after you get under the truck, just unplug the wire and remove from the exhaust
