The low pressure side port for a 2004 Subaru Outback is located on the larger diameter aluminum line, which runs from the evaporator to the compressor. Specifically, it can typically be found near the driver's side of the engine bay, close to the firewall. It is usually covered by a plastic cap and is identifiable by its smaller fitting compared to the high pressure side port. Always ensure the engine is off and the system is properly diagnosed before attempting to service the AC system.
The low pressure Freon port on a 2005 Subaru Outback is located on the center of the engine compartment, in front of the engine block. It has a yellow cap.
To recharge the AC on a 2004 Subaru Outback, start by locating the low-pressure service port, usually found near the accumulator, and attach a refrigerant can with a gauge. Make sure the AC is set to the maximum setting and the engine is running. Open the can and allow the refrigerant to flow into the system, monitoring the pressure gauge to ensure it reaches the recommended level. After charging, check for any leaks and ensure the AC is blowing cold air before disconnecting the gauge.
To add Freon to a Subaru Outback, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface. Locate the low-pressure service port, typically found on the larger diameter AC line. Attach the refrigerant can's nozzle to the port, then start the engine and turn on the AC to the maximum setting. Follow the instructions on the refrigerant can for proper filling, monitoring the pressure gauge to avoid overfilling.
As Bill mentioned, the USB port is located in the center console. I was able to locate an image showing the exact location of the USB port but I am not able to post a link in this reply. Search online for "2014 Subaru Outback Interior Photographs and Images" and you will find them. :)
Engine compartment passenger's side about 2" from the fire wall. Gray cap on it pointing toward you with an "L" on top. Doesn't get any easier.
To add refrigerant to a 2001 Subaru Outback, first ensure the vehicle is off and locate the low-pressure service port, typically found on the larger diameter aluminum line connected to the AC compressor. Remove the cap and attach the refrigerant can's hose to the port. Start the engine and turn the AC to the maximum setting, then slowly release refrigerant into the system while monitoring the pressure gauge on the can. Be cautious not to overfill and follow the manufacturer's specifications for the correct refrigerant type and amount.
If the plastic caps are on the ports, the blue cap is on the lowside port that is the port to fill from. If the caps are missing the lowside port is the bigger of the 2.
The 2004 Subaru Legacy OBD 2 port is under dash at left, next to kick panel"
The low side AC service port on a 2002 Subaru Outback is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is typically found near the firewall, on the larger diameter aluminum line that runs from the evaporator to the compressor. The port is usually capped with a plastic or metal cover, which needs to be removed to access the service port for recharging or servicing the AC system.
The AC low side service port on a 2002 Subaru Outback is located on the passenger side of the engine bay, near the firewall. It is typically found on the larger diameter aluminum line that runs from the evaporator to the compressor. The port is usually capped and has a blue or black color. Be sure to check the vehicle's manual for specific diagrams and details.
There is no test port.
The 2004 Civic low pressure air conditioning service port can be found on top of the air conditioner compressor. The low pressure port should be labeled as such.
