most cheaper low grade models don't have the , the higher efficentcy a/c's
may have circut boards on them and they use sensors, which sensor are you referring to ?
there are high and low pressure switches and others sensors used on high end a/c's you need to refer to the wiring diagram or a/c information to know which sensor, or pressure switch you are talking about.... call for a service technican to service your a/c, you won't be able to figure out whats wrong unless you know what your doing.
