The ECT or the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is a switch. This switch is located on the bottom of the radiator in the 1996 Camry.
The coolant temp sensor is the two wire sensor located near to where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine.
Assuming this is the 4.3 engine, the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor is located on the driver side cylinder head between #3 and #5 spark plugs.
The MAF is located on the intake side of the engine, usually between the airfilter and the throttle body. The ECT (Engine coolant temp sensor) is usually located on the side of the engine block.
The ECT (Electronic Coolant Temperature) sensor is located under the intake manifold on the driver's side on a 1995 Taurus SHO 3.2 liter. It is on the cylinder head.
Assuming this is a 4.3L engine the ect (engine coolant temp sensor) would be located next to the thermostat housing.
There is not a separate cooling fan sensor, it controlled by the ECM which get it's reading from the ECT (engine coolant temp sensor)

V8 model: The CHT sensor is located on the inner wall of the right cylinder head (passenger side) V6 model: The ECT sensor is located on top of the engine, near the upper radiator hose

Under the Distrubutor housing, 2 wire prong.
Behind the alternator, next to the thermostat housing.
