my 2000 Dodge neon won't start, the scan tool read P1193 wich mean (inlet air temp.
Iwant to kknow where it is and what that mean.
the i.a.t ( intake air temp. sensor) is not your problem. the iat simply tells the comp. the outside air temp for a small fuel mixture adj. however it is located in the black hose from the air filter to the throttle body. this code has been in your system for a long time. does the engine turn over sounding weird( fast revolutions?) like there is no resistance in the motor? if yes, ck timing belt, if not, ck for the presents or lack of spark and or no fuel pressure. good luck master tech 26yrs
