It is BUILT into the Alternator, It is all 1 unit.
It is part of the engine computer, behind the battery.
The computer behind the battery is the regulator.
On my 92 B250, the voltage regulator is integrated right into the alternator. The engine computer is the voltage regulator on a 1989 Dodge Ram Van.

Almost all GM vehicles come with an altinator that has a "built in" voltage regulator. Unless you are familiar with rebuilding GM type altinators(sp) I would just consider having it tested to determine if it's truly bad or possibly another issue.
The fuel pressure regulator maintains 41 to 47 psi to the fuel injectors.
To test the voltage regulator on a 1992 Toyota Tercel, first ensure the vehicle is off and then disconnect the battery. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the battery terminals while the engine is running; it should be between 13.8 and 14.5 volts. If the voltage is significantly lower or higher, the voltage regulator may be faulty. Additionally, check the regulator’s ground connection and look for any signs of damage or corrosion.
