If you have a Pontiac Fiero that is overheating there are a few potential causes for it.
The first is that the coolant tubes that run underneath the car have possibly been damaged. This typically happens when a Fiero that is serviced by a shop that does not know the proper methods to raise the vehicle will place the lift onto the tubes and they'll get crushed. The inner workings of the tubes are very small (under an inch) so they have to be perfect. To check, lay down and look under the sides of the car. You will see the coolant tubes and can visually inspect them.
Another problem is that the coolant may have got a bubble in it. This can happen if the coolant reservoir gets air in it and thus it will need to be burped. To burp it, remove the rear coolant cap and remove the thermostat. Fill all the way with coolant, replace the cap, and start. Let it run just enough to cycle coolant. Pop the front radiator cap open just enough to vent. Now go back and fill the rear coolant tube with coolant. When it overfills in the front radiator cap, close the front cap. Now put back in the thermostat and fill to the top.
The only remaining problem is that the water pump is failing. Fiero water pump can and cannot give typical water pump failing signs. If the temp is fluctuating, park the car and let it sit overnight. When it's cool and you start it you may hear a small chirp. Don't confuse it with belt slip. If you hear the chirp, the water pump is going out. They can sometimes chirp for a long time before going out, but then suddenly just go and then you have irreplaceable engine damage. If you have to replace a water pump, ensure that you get the correct one. As both the four and six cylinder Fieros use engines from other GM cars, many water pump manufacturers simply list the same pumps for Fieros even if they are not suitable. You will need to ensure that your new pump has an enclosed metal impeller. If it does not, the new pump will not be able to push enough coolant through the tubes up to the radiator to cool the car, and it will overheat in idle.

i have a 85 fiero gt. i had the same problem. the coolant would boil out of the coolant tank. turns out the thermostat was bad. it cost me 20 dollars at autozone and was easy to replace. hope this helps
on the 1984 model, the 2.5L had oil control and cooling issues. The overheating would cause the the oil to thin out, leak and catch fire.
Suzuki and TVs are motorcycles Pontiac Fiero is a very rare collectors sports car.
Pontiac Fiero was created in 1984.
No, Fiero seats are pretty special to fit in where they are. I recomend you repair your old with parts from the fiero store.

There is someone with a Olds 455 in his Fiero, but he had to remove the trunk.
how do you replace side windows 85 fiero
Yes
Yes it will fit. All Fiero windshields are the same size. They only vary in the amount of tinting or top shading.
My Fiero parts supplier, The Fiero Store, only lists one pump so unless a 3.4 crate motor was put ( I did this to mine ) in they will interchange.
