More than likely the heater core is leaking coolant. Replacement of heater core is all you can do with that.
YES...IF IT HAS STOPPED WORKING IN THE CLOSED POSITION THEN THE HEATED WATER ISN'T FLOWING THROUGH THE HEATER CORE.
Heater core will usually leak. Check the floor under the dash & near the firewall. You will smell anti-freeze/ coolant inside your truck/car. Inside windshield will fog up & there will be an oily film on the glass. On some cars there is a drain tube that goes out thru the firewall to keep the coolant from leaking inside ( 95 Gran AM GT for one) Look for that tube near the heater hoses at the firewall in the engine compartment but make sure the coolant is coming from the drain hose & not the heater hoses
One of the best ways to cool off on a hot muggy day outdoors is by using an oscillating misting fan. Put the fan on the patio. Place it near a wall facing outwards. Plug it in and enjoy the cool ocean-like breezes in the comfort of your own home. Buying a misting fan could be an expensive investment depending on the size and amount of current that it contains. Generally, those who live in a small apartment would find a large misting fan to be a worthless investment. In fact, all that they would require on a hot day is a small hand-held portable misting fan to keep cool. What use would anyone have with a hand-held portable misting fan? How and where would they use it? Moreover, does it create a cool breeze or is it a play toy that appears to be more useful than it really is? 1. Use a small portable misting fan during the hot summer months to cut back on energy, and save money by turning the air conditioning thermostat up higher. Fill the small portable misting fan with ice and water. Place it on a table next to the reclining chair. Flip the switch, and sit back and enjoy the cool breezes. Portable misting fans use batteries instead of electricity, so keep a supply of batteries on hand. 2. Take the small portable misting fan to the park or beach. Make sure that it always is filled with ice and water. Keep it refrigerated, so the fan is always ready to be used. Bring more than one misting fan with if you go with friends and/or family. 3. Make sure that you bring a small portable misting fan when you go overnight camping with the kids. It gets hot and humid in the woods at night. Give each person their own small portable misting fan to keep with them. They are very inexpensive, and each fan usually costs less than a toy. Moreover, they keep the bugs away and create a breeze that will allow campers to sleep. 4. Make sure that you fill the small portable misting fan with ice and a little tap water. Store it in the freezer. When you are ready to use it, the ice water will make the area cool.
Rubber plants do not require misting for optimal growth and health. In fact, misting can sometimes lead to issues such as fungal growth or pests. It is best to simply wipe the leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them clean.
Could be a faulty thermostat switch in the radiator !!
rad hoses route coolant to the engine to maintain operating temperature (to keep engine from overheating). Heater hoses supply the heater core (inside most vehicles) with hot water, when heater/ac temperature control knob is turned toward hot, to heat the interior of the vehicle by opening and closing a water flow control valve allowing water to enter the heater core for heat. =;)
remove the glove box, remove the small screws holding the fan, turn the fan sideways, and take it out. Might have to jimmy it around a bit, tight space. Now comes the fun part. Start to remove all the little screws that hold the heater core box from the inside, just before that, you should remove the 2 heater hoses from inside the engine compartment, and look for I believe 2 nuts that also hold the heater box from the same area as the heater hoses. Check for linkage from inside, wiring, etc. and remove the box. Theres your heater core. Should keep you busy for 3 or more hours. Good luck.
The best outdoor fan options for a pergola to keep you cool during hot weather are ceiling fans, misting fans, and portable fans. Ceiling fans are a great permanent solution, while misting fans provide a cooling mist. Portable fans offer flexibility and can be moved around as needed.
To effectively use a blow heater to keep warm during the winter months, place the heater in a central location in the room, keep the doors and windows closed to retain heat, and set the heater to a comfortable temperature. Make sure to follow all safety instructions and never leave the heater unattended.
It's probably the low windscreen washer water level light. If you keep washing the windscreen, it will eventually stay on until you refill the washer fluid.
Yes. Keep the windows shut, and also test with the heater on and off, as the heat exchanger be a source of CO from the exhaust fumes.
It stays on UNLESS you have a commercial heater with an electronic ignition
