It probably means you are low on steering wheel fluid if your vehicle has Power Steering. Most cars do. Refill the fluid to proper amount. It is located near the firewall of your car. Read your car manual for instructions on this. It might also have gone bad and in need of repair at the car repair shop. . Older cars that only has manual steering wheels will shake when you are driving on bumpy or uneven roads. This was common in the old days until power steering came along in the late 60s to the early 70s I think.
sounds like it could be the clockwork spring that is in the stering colum you have to remove the stering whell to get at this and it is a dealer only part
