If the system is low of refrigerant the low pressure switch will shut the compressor down to prevent it from burning up. So you may just be low of refrigerant.

easy if you have put power to clutch from battery and system is in vacuum and centure of clutch is turning with the motor in means to say your valve plate is dead in side compressor.
