Could be your tranny is popping into revers gear rough or if its a RWD car your driveshaft has alot of slack in it and the ujoints need replaced also could be bad differential gears if its a RWD car. Hard to really say without seeing and hearing it.

It sounds like there is air in the clutch line somewhere. Bleed the clutch (if possible, some clutches are "self-bleeding" and need to be replaced entirely).

Two of the wires are mixed up. The result is that two cylinders are attempting to fire at the wrong time. It can result in the popping sound when the cylinder fires at the wrong time.
Sometimes you can't stop your veins from popping out. But if you gain some weight, and stop working out so much they will go back to "normal"
