If your wipers, interior lights, and central locking system are not working, it could be due to a blown fuse, a faulty relay, or a dead battery. A blown fuse can interrupt the power supply to these components, while a faulty relay may prevent them from functioning properly. Additionally, if the battery is weak or dead, it can affect multiple electrical systems in the vehicle. It's advisable to check the fuses first and then inspect the battery and electrical connections.
If the interior and parking lights are not working on a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, the first fuses to check would be the interior light fuse. Also check to make sure the light switch is in the right position to allow the interior lights to come on.
check your fuses
It sounds like there may be an issue with the electrical system in your Rover 75. The indicators working but the dashboard lights and central locking not functioning could indicate a blown fuse or a fault in the wiring. I recommend checking the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the dashboard and central locking. If the fuses are intact, a more in-depth diagnostic may be needed to identify wiring issues or a malfunctioning control module.
It migt be a problem with the central computer or more simply by the symptoms you describe I'll go for an alarm sytem problem
To reset the dash lights and central locking on a 2000 Citroën Picasso, first, disconnect the car's battery by removing the negative terminal for about 15 minutes. This may reset the electronic systems, including the dash lights and central locking. After reconnecting the battery, check if the issues are resolved. If not, consult the vehicle's manual or a professional for specific diagnostic procedures.
The most likely reason why the interior lights of a vehicle are not working is because a fuse has blown. That is especially true if all of them are not working. Get out your owners manual. See where the fuse box is located. Find the particular fuse, and replace it.
probably the fuse is blown.
You don't list a year so I will give you a general solution. Many vehicles have a " body control module" or "illumination control module" when one of these malfunctions many systems will be affected.
probbly the fuse box....
