Mine does the same thing and I know this. .. Its is related to the transmission in my case. Its an instant kill for an automatic transmission that feels similar to poping a clutch with no gas on a manual. I had a guy tell me that there is a three wire conector attached to the transmission that if removed can fix this problem. It didnt in my case
