Depending on what type of leak you are trying to fix sealants that get put in the radiator may work for a while. But my experience says not long.
If you are installing a new one, do not use any sealant not recommended in the gasket kit.
If you are blowing white smoke out the exhaust, there are a couple of different brands that have copper in them. One is in a bottle, mostly clear liquid with the copper settled to the bottom. If the coolant is only going out the exhaust, follow the instructions and I have never had this fail. If coolant is getting in the oil or exhaust is getting into the radiator it will not help.
you should never use a sealant on a head gasket as that is only a temporary fix in an emergency situation. The only permanent fix is to replace the gasket.
Never use sealant for a head gasket! It is used as a quick fix for cracks in the gasket but will not last very long. Safer to get the job done correctly.
In your dreams bubela! Buy a new gasket.
A head gasket joins that cylinder head with the cylinder block. It separated the oil and the coolant passages. If the two mix, the head gasket will "blow" soon.
Begin by removing the cylinder head from your Chevrolet S 10 four-cylinder engine. Remove the head gasket and clean the surface. Put the new head gasket on and return the cylinder head to its original position.
remove head and replace gasket :)
Gasket between engine block and cylinder head
Yes, it sure can.
You possibly have a leak in the cylinder head gasket. You possibly have a leak in the head gasket.
A common cause of problems in cylinder head gaskets is leaks in the gasket. When a leak forms, the gasket must be replaced.

The head gasket is the gasket that fits between the cylinder head and the engine block.
