I had this problem with my Monte Carlo, I think it was that I needed a new turn signal switch. I think there was a sensor or something that was broke too?? But I believe the dash panel lights not working at night had something to do with a short in the turn signal switch.
you jank it you jank it
if you only broke the ceramic the nut is still there other wise you need to use an easy out and be a bit more gentle
if you have disc brake on the back its your caliper, it might be not releasing and if you have drums on the back a part might be broke or come off.
rod bearings, pistons locked...thrown rod...could be a million things...best bet is to take it out and check the crankshaft and rods make sure nothing broke
if the belt broke you got a 50/50 to make run. mine broke and screwed the motor up big time.its your $600.00
I would first check to see if the bolt(s) holding it in place are loose; that is what you want it to be. I am adding my own personal experience to this persons answer. We have a 1998 Monte Carlo and were having the same problem over and over again till we finally found a mechanic who finally found the problem. It was the harmonic balancer and we had it replaced for about $400. and now everything fine.
If the door handle is broke you need to replace it. But check if the rod came off. Sometimes the clip slides off and the rod comes off. Simply connect the rod back and put the clip back on to keep it in place
