Have you tested the starter itself? Remove it, take to Auto Zone/Advanced/etc. and they'll do a free bench test for you.
suspect starter relay locate relay and replace temp solution run wire straight to battery from starter make sure in neutral when starting
most of the time just a clicking sound when trying to start a car means that the starter or solonoid is bad. try changing the solonoid first and then the starter. Hope this helps.
Check the leads to the starter and also if the battery has a full charge (should be around 12.4 volts). There may be a short in the wiring, fried starter solenoid or a wiring issue.
Check the ballist resister on fire wall !!!!

You have a connection problem either at the battery cables or at the starter solenoid. It is possible that the starter solenoid is weak. Start with the battery first and work toward the starter. If the cables are at all so-so replace them. Let me know if this helps you. Mark

I hear a clicking noise coming from my jeep when I hit speeds greater then 50 MPH? any ideas on what can cause this
Assuming the battery checks good, you have a bad connection between the negative battery post and ground to the engine, or bad connection between the positive battery post and the starter.
Yes. I like thinking up ideas and implement them.

It sounds like a bad starter. I had the same problem, where my car would just make the clicking sound when I turned the ignition. I changed the starter and VIOLA! Problem fixed. I had the same problem with my 92 Hatch and i tested my starter and it was fine volts. Then I saw my positive terminal wasnt on all the way so i Put in on tight and my car cranks over nice like i just came from the dealer. LOL
