Check the fuel injectors
A coil pack can be checked for continuity and resistance with an ohm meter. But for heat or load failure the only way to check a coil pack is to replace it.
what is the max resistance on a 4.7 grand jeep cherokee coil pack
The second spark plug is misfiring. Could be the coil right above the spark plug.
All the coils are the same, each one must be connected to the connector for the cylinder the coil is connected to the spark plug for
Check the ignition control module (autozone) and check coil resistance. After that not sure I have same problem with new icm and new coil.
Check the coil or coil packs if equipped.
The 2005 Chevy Trailblazer has Coil-On-Plug ignition coils so there are 6 "coil packs". Each one is mounted on top of the spark plug.
Coil packs can not be checked for heat or load related issues. They can be checked for proper resistance with an ohm meter.
you dont. it has coil springs.
Yes. This testing procedure is valid for most automotive coils. Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance between the side terminals of the coil. Do this with all of the wires to the coil disconnected. You should see 0.75 to 0.81 ohm of resistance. Then check the resistance between either side terminal and the center high tension terminal. The reading should be 10,000 to 11,000 ohms. Any significant deviation from these numbers would indicate that the coil is defective.
