To remove glass from a headlamp, first, ensure the headlamp is turned off and disconnected from any power source. Carefully disassemble the headlamp casing by unscrewing or unclipping it, taking care not to damage any internal components. Once open, gently remove the shattered glass pieces using tweezers or a soft cloth, then clean the area before reassembling the headlamp. If the glass is significantly damaged, consider replacing the lens or the entire headlamp unit for safety.

Yes. I'm assuming your covers are pitted and foggy looking from road sand and such. You have three choices. 1. Replace them 2. Get some of the stuff they make to coat them and put it on. (ask your local auto parts store about it) 3. Get a buffing wheel and power drill and polish them using a fine abrasive compound. You could use toothpaste, it works pretty good.
the headlamp glass is a non serviceable item, you can not disassemble the plastic exterior from the headlamp module. if your exterior lens is foggy from uv discoloration you may find after market products to clean and restore the clear lens.
