Yes. I'm assuming your covers are pitted and foggy looking from road sand and such. You have three choices. 1. Replace them 2. Get some of the stuff they make to coat them and put it on. (ask your local auto parts store about it) 3. Get a buffing wheel and power drill and polish them using a fine abrasive compound. You could use toothpaste, it works pretty good.
