Try having your front suspension aligned. Check your ignition system for misfiring as well.
It sounds like your car over heated while you were driving it. You should have it towed to a mechanic so that they can fix the problem.

The car will jerk, feel like there is something heavy slowing it down and then it will not move. It happened to me today and you will know it when it happens. The car will not be able to move until that axle is fixed (which is a cheap fix)
Find the leak, and fix it. theirs no leakge bra.

Who owns the uninsured car? It will depend on your state, but if you were driving a car you own but did not insure you may have to pay for the repairs yourself - and in some states, if you have no insurance on the car you're driving, you may get to repair the other guy's car too even if it was his fault. If it was his fault, some states will require him or his insurance if he has it, to fix your car.
Happened to me .. it was the crank sensor. Pretty inexpensive to fix

If the latch under your hood is damaged and won't lock then your hood could fly up while you are driving. You should take it to a mechanic to see if they can fix your latch.
Rotors out of round - resurface or replace
There is a fault in the engine electrics. The light means "Fix Me".
