location of fuel pump relay
fuse box
The fuel pump relay is in the fuel pump itself, Therefore when your relay goes bad or you get a 5-4 trouble code you must replace the fuel pump.
where can I locate the fuel pump relay in a 1995 740IL BMW
Yes, the fuel pump relay turns on and off sending power to the fuel pump as needed. The best to test that relay is to just replace it with a new one. Also make sure and check the fuel pump fuse and replace the fuel filter as it might be clogged.
Fuel pump relay is stuck. Replace it.
You should check the fuel pump fuse to make sure is not blown. If the fuse is good the fuel pump relay may be defective. It is always simpler to replace the fuse and the relay before removing the fuel pump.
A typical fuel pump relay should pull straight out with your fingers.
do you have to remove fuel tank to replace fuel pump
The fuel pump relay on a 1998 Opel Corsa 1.7D is typically located in the engine compartment, within the relay box. This box is usually found near the battery or on the driver's side of the engine bay. You may also find a diagram on the relay box cover that indicates the specific location of the fuel pump relay. Always refer to the vehicle's manual for precise information and safety instructions.
check the relay first, and then the fuses if this does not work the fuel pump will most likely need replaced
Yes, and the pump itself can do the very same thing. First thing to do is replace the fuel filter. If the problem persists then replace the fuel pump relay. If the problem is still there the pump is more than likely defective.
