Heres one way to unseize an engine, I know it works on single cyl engines but should work on any type. First you take an old spark plug and break all the porceline off and out of the plug, then cut off the ground tab which is above where the electrode was. Now you will have just the threads with a hole all the way through it. Take a grease zert / grease nipple and weld it to the top of the plug. First soalk each cylinder in penetrating oil over night, then thread the modified plug it in to the engine, put a grease gun on the nipple and pump grease into the cylinder. Make sure you do a good weld job so the grease doesnt escape from the cylinder. Make sure you use this on a cylinder which is mid stroke, not TDC or BDC. The pressure provided by the grease gun should be enough to pop the piston loose and it applies even pressure to the top of the piston as well which reduces the chance of breaking a ring, at least on the one cylinder you are using it on. Good luck, C.O. Michetti.

How do you unseize a generator?

To unseize a generator, start by ensuring it's disconnected from any power source. Remove the spark plug and apply penetrating oil into the cylinder to help loosen the piston. Let it sit for several hours or overnight, then gently try to turn the flywheel by hand. If it still doesn't budge, you may need to disassemble parts of the engine for further inspection and cleaning.

Will transmission fluid unseize a 2007 dodge charger engine?

If the engine has seized, then it's pretty much done for. Transmission fluid, or engine oil, will do nothing to solve that. Transmission fluid goes in the transmission - which if that is seized, again - you're in trouble. The only way to get around replacement is to disassemble the seized component (engine, tranny, whatever) and replace the seized components and anything else that was damaged as a result of the seizing. sorry.

How do you unseize an engine in a 1998 Chevy Cavalier?

I wouldn't bother. If it's seized from sitting, the rings are probably shot. If it seized from overheating, the rings and cylinder walls are most likely shot. If you do want to attempt, I have heard OLD break fluid works wonders.

Can you use soda to unseize a motor?

Using soda to unseize a motor is not a reliable or effective method. While some people believe that the carbonation in soda might help loosen rust or corrosion, it is unlikely to provide the necessary lubrication or penetrating power needed to free a seized engine. Instead, it's better to use products specifically designed for this purpose, such as penetrating oil or a mixture of oil and diesel fuel, and allow adequate time for them to work. Always consult a professional if you're unsure about the best approach.

How can you unseize a dirt bike?

Here's something you can try. Might or might not work. Take out the spark plug and put in some "Marvel Mystery Oil". Let it sit for a day or so, then try to work the engine back and forth to break it loose. I did it with a car and it worked after about three days.

How do you unseize an air compressor?

To unseize an air compressor, first ensure it's unplugged for safety. Remove the compressor's head and inspect the piston and cylinder for rust or debris; applying penetrating oil can help loosen stuck parts. Manually turn the motor shaft with a wrench, using gentle force to avoid damage. If necessary, clean or replace any damaged components before reassembling and testing the compressor.
