no this is not a computer problem.it is either a starter motor problem or the ring gear on flywheel is worn
Defective starter, or a problem with the flywheel. You need to check the starter and then remove it and check the flywheel.
Mine did this, replacement of distributor solved the problem. Go figure?!?
i just put a new computer in my 2002 sebring and now I am having a problem starting the car
a grinding sound usually means a broken teeth on either the flywheel or the starter pignion gear. your starter can also be loose.
The only thing this will do is to rest the computer. Problem doesn't exist in starting or charging system, have computer checked.
The grinding noise can be an indication of a bad gear in the transmission. The grinding noise can also indicate a problem with the clutch.
The computer has sensed a problem in the supplemental restraint system.
It depends on where the grinding noise is coming from. Most of the time the grinding is coming from the brakes and the brake pads need to be replaced. If they've been grinding for a while, the rotors will need to be resurfaced or replaced. Other possibilities for grinding are worn axle bearings, or a problem with the clutch. If the clutch goes out, there will be a grinding noise when you try to shift gears.
It means there are two "computer name" are same on your network. To solve this problem Go to My computer's properties then click on computer name then click on "Change" and change your Computer name like server, client, mycomputer etc. click on Ok. The system ask you to restart your computer, click on yes and restart your computer. Your problem is solved.
The "awful grinding sound" might be a problem with your power steering
A basic problem is, when your Computer first stabled itself, (when you first bought it) it enables itself a Security System, which basically runs the whole thing, and when you turn it on, it switches on this TINY circuit which runs the computer, and sometimes when this circuit is disabled or faulty, it will automatically turn off, and so will the computer.
