There is not such thing as a 3/4, or 3/4 race, camshaft. This was a slang term in the 50's, and early 60's. Camshafts all come with individual specs, tailored to what the desired effect from the engine.

Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts 71 inch-lbs Camshaft Sprocket bolts step 1 36 step 2 60 degrees step 3 15 degrees Cylinder head bolts: 4 steps step 1 18 step 2 90 degrees step 3 90 degrees step 4 90 degrees Valuve cover bolts 83 inch lbs Please note inch pounds is used in a couple of these and that they require an inch pound torque wrench.
Step one: Remove spark plug wires Step two: using a phillip's head screw driver, take out the screws holding the distributor cap, remove it. Step three: Remove distributor rotor (or button) step four: take out the two or three bolts holding the distributor step five: pull (or tap) the distributor out Step six: Buy a NEW one ( I.E. NOT refurbished!!!!) Step seven: do it all in reverse. ***!!!NOTE!!!*** MAKE SURE to line the tabs on the distributor shaft up with the slot cut outs on the camshaft.
