You can have worn universal joints, wear or low oil in transfer case or differential(s),transmission low on fluid or needs band adjustment. Seems to be one of these problems along drive train.
Do you mean JERK?
One of the possible causes of a Pontiac Bonneville to jerk during acceleration is that the car needs a tune up. The engine misfiring can lead it to jerk as you accelerate.
Cylinder miss.
Poor driver or bad transmission.
What causes a car to jerk while driving can be based on many factors. A car can sputter due to engine compression issues, bad transmission, engine misfire, bad spark plugs or even low fuel.
low transmission fluid clogged fluid filter
Slippage in the transmission or a bad torque converter
try changing plugs and wires
It COULD be a motor mount or worn suspension component.
The force of friction between the tires and the road surface is what primarily causes a car to stop. When the brakes are applied, the brake pads press against the rotating wheels, generating friction that slows down the car.
The force that causes the car to stop by opposing its motion is friction. Friction occurs between the tires of the car and the road surface, creating a force that resists the motion of the car, ultimately bringing it to a stop.
The car tilts forward on the shocks as you slow down. Then when you finally stop, the front shocks pop back up, and you are thrown slightly backwards. :)
